Your parental trash tactic doesn’t work. Our older daughter Sam left a pile of dishes that she and her friends used.Charley told her to clean it before she went out. She didn’t. So he took all the dirty dishes and dumped them in her bed. That was a few years ago. I’m still reminding her to clean up her messes in the kitchen.
