  • I don’t discriminate - I like all chocolate: milk, dark, white. I eat it all. I think dark chocolate is my favorite, though.

Dawn, you should try Scharffen Berger chocolate. If you’re ever in Berkeley, you can tour their plant and see how they make chocolate. The show you how they roast the beans, crush them up, and add cocoa butter, and turn it into chocolate bars. It was the coolest thing I ever saw in my life. If you ever see a bar of Scharffen Berger in a grocery store, you should pick it up. It’s fantastic!

  • I’m a *huge* white chocolate fan– the problem is that it’s terribly hard to find. Much of what’s called “white chocolate” is actually “white confection.” Fortunately, we have a few Lindt stores here, so go me.

Lisa *loves* dark chocolate and is very sensitive to the multiple layers of flavors that Dawn was talking about– she tastes chocolate the way many people taste wine.

Scharffen Berger is very good– Joseph Schmidt is also wonderful, and it’s produced in San Francisco. We have a shop here that sells all sorts of boutique chocolates.

Another great show! We’re out here listening!
