We’ve experienced the exact same thing with hermit crabs. The crawling out of the shell thing to die is weird. I spent about 1,000 times the cost of the crab on the stupid tank, light, heater ect… Still killed em’

So far so good with the second crab. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.
